On March 2, 2024, at Hall A, Khanh Hoa Provincial Convention Center, The University of Khanh Hoa in collaboration with the Center for Educational Accreditation – University of Da Nang held a ceremony to announce the Decision and award the certificate of accreditation of education institutions. Attending the ceremony, on the side of leaders of Khanh Hoa province, there was Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, on the side of the Ministry of Education and Training, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy – Director of the Department of Higher Education, on the side of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation – University of Da Nang there was Dr. Huynh Ngoc Thanh – Deputy Director of the Center.

           At the end of 2022, The University of Khanh Hoa completed the self-evaluation of the first cycle in the period 2018 – 2022 and registered for quality accreditation at the Center for Education Accreditation – Da Nang University, The University of Khanh Hoa and the Center for Education Accreditation – Da Nang University coordinated to organize external assessment activities, completed the appraisal of assessment results on February 4, 2024, on the basis of the appraisal results of the Council for Education Accreditation, the Center for Education Accreditation – Da Nang University issued Decision No. 93/QĐ-CEA.UD dated February 28, 2024 on the recognition and certification of educational institution quality accreditation standards according to the set of standards issued together with Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BGDDT dated May 19, 2017 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

          Returning to the ceremony of announcing the Decision and awarding Certificates of Accreditation for educational institution of The University of Khanh Hoa, after the announcement of the Decision, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Thanh – Deputy Director of the Center for Educational Accreditation – University of Danang awarded the Certificate of Accreditation of educational institution to the leaders of The University of Khanh Hoa in the presence of the leaders of Khanh Hoa province and the leaders of the Department of Higher Education – Ministry of Education and Training.

          Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Thanh – Deputy Director of the Center for Educational Accreditation – University of Da Nang congratulated the University on completing the accreditation of the first cycle of educational institution, which will be the first step to help the University continue to develop in the upcoming period. The Center for Educational Quality Accreditation – University of Danang hoped that the University will continue to promote the achieved results, overcome the limitations, existence and continuously improve to improve the quality of training high-quality human resources.

          At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy – Director of the Higher Education Department also congratulated the University on its encouraging achievements in educational quality accreditation, contributing to the implementation of social accountability in accordance with the Law on Higher Education 2012, which was amended and supplemented in 2018, this is also the basis for the Ministry of Education and Training to continue to put faith in the quality of training of the University. Also at the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Education and Training, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy has awarded the decision to open a university-level training degree in History - Geography Pedagogy, starting enrollment and training from the academic year 2024 – 2025 for The University of Khanh Hoa.

          Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu gave a speech to congratulate the leaders, officials, and employees of the whole school for their outstanding development over the past years. On behalf of the provincial leaders, he thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Department of Higher Education, the Department of Quality Management, the Center for Education Quality Accreditation – Da Nang University for accompanying the successes of the University in the past period. Khanh Hoa province will continue to invest and develop The University of Khanh Hoa in the upcoming period, the development of The University of Khanh Hoa will contribute to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW dated January 28, 2022 of the Political Bureau on construction and development of Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

         On behalf of the leaders of The University of Khanh Hoa, Dr. Phan Phien – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University thanked the presence of distinguished guests, the attention of the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Department of Higher Education, the Quality Management Department, the Center for Education Quality Accreditation – Da Nang University, the leadership and direction of the leaders of Khanh Hoa province, the support of departments, agencies and localities as well as the companionship of agencies, units and businesses. The University of Khanh Hoa is committed to constantly improving and improving the quality of human resource training, meeting the needs and satisfaction of stakeholders, especially employers.

          Also at the ceremony, The University of Khanh Hoa announced the decision to appoint Associate Professor to Dr. Vo Van Dung – Lecturer of the Faculty of Basic Theory and gave flowers to congratulate the new PhD students who have completed the doctoral program, graduated and received their doctoral degrees in 2023.
