Delegation of Hiroshima Provincial Government, Japan visited and worked with The University of Khanh Hoa

          On the afternoon of March 19th, 2024, The University of Khanh Hoa solemnly welcomed the delegation of the Hiroshima Provincial Government, Japan to visit and work at the University.     

         Attending the meeting, on the side of the Hiroshima Provincial Government delegation, there were: Mr. Sugiyama Ryoichi, Director of the Hiroshima Provincial Local Policy Agency; Mr. Okoda Takeshi, Head of the International Relations Department of the Hiroshima Provincial Regional Policy Agency; Ms. Monden Kayo, Supervisor - International Relations Department of the Hiroshima Provincial Policy Agency and Mr. Park Tran Hung, interpreter.

          Welcoming the Hiroshima Provincial Government delegation were: Mr. Phan Phien, Rector of The University of Khanh Hoa; Mr. Chu Dinh Loc, Vice Rector and Heads of Office: Science and Technology and External Cooperation, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs; and heads of Faculties of The University of Khanh Hoa.

         Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phan Phien – Rector expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of the Hiroshima Provincial Government, Japan to visit the University, and at the same time briefly introduce The University of Khanh Hoa, training professions and outstanding achievements of the University. On this occasion, Mr. Phan Phien shared: "Currently, The University of Khanh Hoa is assigned by the province to expand Japanese language training in order to implement and connect between universities of the two sides, thereby tightening the relationship between Vietnam and Japan". He wished to expand cooperation; connect and link training with universities in Hiroshima province, Japan to exchange students and lecturers; enroll students abroad; organize international scientific conferences and seminars...to improve the training quality of the University.

          On behalf of the Hiroshima Provincial Government Delegation, Mr. Sugiyama Ryoichi, Director of the Hiroshima Provincial Local Policy Agency, thanked the leaders of The University of Khanh Hoa for their warm and thoughtful welcome. He shared the purpose of this trip to learn about the fields of tourism, investment, culture, exchange, education and training... and emphasized that it would create the most favorable conditions for the two sides to meet, exchange and sign cooperation in areas of mutual interest, especially education and training. At the meeting, Mr. Okoda Takeshi, Head of International Relations Department of Hiroshima Provincial Regional Policy Agency also introduced universities of Hiroshima Province, scholarship programs for students as well as expected some universities of Hiroshima Province will sign MOUs with The University of Khanh Hoa. He will facilitate The University of Khanh Hoa to connect and cooperate with universities of Hiroshima Province. This is an opportunity for the two sides to expand the network of cooperation with international partners, towards sustainable development in the future.

                   At the end of the meeting, Mr. Phan Phien thanked the sharing and receiving the opinions of the Hiroshima Provincial Government's delegation. The University of Khanh Hoa sent Mr. Phan Duc Ngai, Head of Science, Technology and External Cooperation Office to connect and discuss with Mr. Okoda Takeshi, Head of International Relations Department of Hiroshima Regional Policy Agency to concretize the content of the meeting in the coming time.
