On the morning of January 8, 2024, The University of Khanh Hoa (UKH) cooperated with Loc Tho Primary School to welcome the delegation from Daegu National University of Education, Korea (DNUE) to participate in the Volunteer Education Program in 2024 at Loc Tho Primary School at 05 Tran Hung Dao, Loc Tho Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.

         Attending the meeting, on the side of Daegu National University of Education, Korea, there were Mr. BAIK Jungyoul – Professor, Faculty of Arts Education; Mr. OH Joonseuk – Professor of Physical Education Faculty; Mr. BAE Ilyong - In charge of student affairs; Mr. LEE Deukhui - In charge of student affairs; Ms. WON Jiyeong – Interpreter; Ms. Hoang Subin – Interpreter and 14 DNUE students. On the side of The University of Khanh Hoa, there were Mr. Phan Duc Ngai - In charge of Office for Science, Technology and External Cooperation, Ms. Thai Thi Phuong Thao – In charge of Faculty of Education, Ms. Vu Thi Thuy Hang – Office for Science, Technology and External Cooperation, The University of Khanh Hoa.

          Welcoming the delegation from Daegu National University of Education, South Korea, there were Ms. Truong Thi Tam – Principal of Loc Tho Primary School; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung - Vice Principal; Ms. Nguyen Huynh Nhat Giang - Vice Principal  and teachers of Loc Tho Primary School.

                    Chairing the meeting, Mr. Phan Duc Ngai - In charge of Office for Science, Technology and External Cooperation, The University of Khanh Hoa introduced the delegates, declared the reasons for the opening of the Volunteer Education Program in 2024 and wished the program a great success.

          Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Truong Thi Tam – Principal of Loc Tho Primary School was pleased to welcome the delegation from  Daegu National University of Education, Korea to visit and work with the University. The school has prepared thoughtfully and hopes  that students will have interesting and useful lessons through the volunteer education program 2024.

          Mr. BAIK Jungyoul on behalf of Daegu National University of Education, Korea thanked Loc Tho Primary School for their warm and thoughtful welcome and for the support and connection from The University of Khanh Hoa. DNUE has implemented the Volunteer Education Program at some primary schools in Nha Trang city since 2017. This is the first time to visit and work with Loc Tho Primary School, he and the members of the delegation hope to have experiences and leave a good impression in a spacious and beautiful school in the middle of Nha Trang City.

         DNUE's Volunteer Education Program takes place from January 8, 2024 to January 12, 2024 with the participation and support of The University of Khanh Hoa, which is expected to bring useful lessons and interesting experiences for students at Loc Tho Primary School and an opportunity to exchange, learn and connect between teachers and students of the two universities. At the same time, this activity continues to mark a good relationship and further tighten effective cooperation between DNUE and UKH.

          After the meeting, the delegation went to the classes to greet, get to know and exchange with the students of Loc Tho Primary School.
