On the morning of April 21, 2025, at the Office of the Faculty of Arts, the leadership and lecturers of the Faculty of Arts participating in teaching French students held a welcome ceremony for student LAURANT Paul from the European Academy of Art of Brittany, France (EESAB) under the Memorandum of Cooperation with Khanh Hoa University. Accordingly, during approximately eight weeks (from April 18, 2025 to June 15, 2025), student LAURANT Paul will study three subjects: Sculpture (3 credits, 81 periods), Silk Painting (4 credits, 106 periods), and Lacquer Painting (5 credits, 136 periods) according to the detailed course outlines.
The European Academy of Art of Brittany, France has been a long-standing partner of Khanh Hoa University. Over the years, both sides have implemented various cooperative programs for the exchange of lecturers and students. Most recently, in 2024, the university received two students from EESAB to participate in a short-term Fine Arts course at Khanh Hoa University. By promoting international cooperation, including the reception and exchange of students, students have the opportunity to study and do an internship abroad. Through this program, students gain exposure to new environments, accumulate skills, and develop professional manners in a multicultural environment.

Overview of the Student Reception Ceremony
At the reception ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tú — Head of the Faculty of Arts — expressed his delight in welcoming student LAURANT Paul from the European Academy of Art of Brittany, France to participate in the short-term Fine Arts course at the university. He affirmed: “The university will provide the best possible conditions in terms of facilities, accommodation, and living arrangements and the lecturers of the Faculty of Arts will wholeheartedly support LAURANT Paul during his study process to help him successfully complete the program at the university. We hope Paul will study well and have memorable experiences in the beautiful city of Nha Trang in general and at this beloved university in particular. We also hope he will become a cultural ambassador like previous students from EESAB who used to study here introducing Khanh Hoa University to other French students.”
Also at the reception, student LAURANT Paul expressed his gratitude for the warm and attentive welcome from the lecturers and the university. He felt fortunate and proud to be one of EESAB’s outstanding students chosen to study at Khanh Hoa University. LAURANT Paul wished to have meaningful experiences and explore knowledge and culture of Vietnam as well as hoping to bring the knowledge he acquires here back to share with fellow students in France.
After the reception, the lecturers of the Faculty of Arts took student LAURANT Paul on a tour of the newly renovated classrooms and practice rooms, which are fully equipped with essential facilities for training in the arts at the university. It is hoped that with the attention of the university’s leadership and the close cooperation of related departments, student LAURANT Paul will successfully complete his study program and have interesting and valuable experiences when studying at Khanh Hoa University.
